In the midst of all the busyness this world has to offer, we want to be your safe haven, a place where you can come relax, breath and know that you will leave better than you came. We have your best interest at heart, so although you are welcome to shop online, setting an appointment for a personal visit to the fashion house or allowing one of our knowledgeable Fashion Consultants to come to you will afford us the opportunity to share our expertise with you.

Our consultants are trained and handpicked to provide services and fashion advice that will keep you looking fabulous everyday and for every occasion. They are available to answer all of your fashion questions, even the ones you didn't know you needed to ask.
Every one of our designers is hand selected for their passions regarding size solutions. They each address their own fit issues by designing for that demographic. So rest assured that your fit issue, whether it is full figure, tall and slim, or petite we have the perfect style and fit for you.
Our production team is dedicated to delivering perfect fitting, well made, quality products in a timely manner. Each garment is made one at a time according to your specific measurements, no cookie cutter sizing here! All of our designers are American Independent small business owners. All of our garments are hand crafted one at a time right here in America. By purchasing from us you are helping to keep our friends, neighbors and community employed.

Closet Analysis
When a our fashion consultant goes through your closet she explains why you have a closet full of clothes and nothing to wear. She will point out the items that are the most flattering for your body type. She will give you the information you need to make optimum clothing choices that accentuate your best features. She will encourage you to remove or restyle the items that don’t allow you to look your absolute best. When all is said and done you will have a well organized closet that holds clothes that you can’t wait to wear and a shopping list for the items you need to complete your looks.
Wardrobe Planning
Having a plan lets you know exactly where you are going. Our professional fashion consultants are your personal tour guides leading you straight to “fabulousity” with no detours. Your wardrobe will be carefully planned down to the detail. You will be armed with a shopping list of items to complete your looks, colors that accentuate your skin tone, and how to put it all together to be counted among the divas.
Total Makeover
Once your closet and your wardrobe are in order we will turn you over to our expert makeover team for hair styling that flatters your face, makeup tricks and techniques that enhance your natural beauty.
From beginning to end our professionals have your best interest at heart. You are in on every decision and are taught how to maintain your fabulous looks.

Leighel Desiree
Leighel's journey to style began at 12 when she made her own graduation dress on a toy sewing machine that you turn by hand.
She went on to the High School of Fashion Industries and The Fashion Institute of Technology. She worked for 25 years in the New York fashion industry for companies like Judy Bond, Ann Klein, and Butterick Patterns.
Leighel’s move to the DC metro area prompted her to create her own collection in 1997. She began selling her collection to boutiques across the country and developing relationships with shop owners and individual clients.
Leighel provides styles and services that keep her extraordinary clients in compliments.
Leighel says “my designs speak to the heart, body and soul of a woman. I create styles for the nurturer, the multi tasker, and the sensual being in all of us. For me designing speaks to who we are as women." Sometimes I think my job is not a very important one. And then I come across someone whose view of herself is transformed during the process of creating the perfect thing to wear. It is then that I know that this is my life’s work, my spirit work.
She has adorned many important leaders in the community such as Pastor Dee Dee Freeman of Eyes of Faith Ministries, Dr Pastor Ann Bishop, Pastor Tasha, First Lady Dianna Cherry of From the Heart Ministries, Sherry and Bob Yates of Circle of Champions, Sergeant Tammy Lawrence and Wayne Sullivan of the DC police Department and many more.
Leighel Desiree’s designs have been featured in the African American wedding planning book “Jumping the Broom” second edition by Harriette Cole, she’s been on the cover of DC’s Metro Connection Newspaper and featured in several television shows.
This work has led Leighel to develop relationships with other local designers who want to know the secret to her success. As a result of nurturing many up and coming fashion designers the next natural step was to create a system for designers to do what the love and have the staff they need to be successful, so she created Leighel Desiree House of Fashion.
Leighel's creativity is stirred by her appreciation for the beautiful essence of womanhood.
"I am truly thankful for all of the women who share my love for fashion by wearing my designs. We have shared good times, not so good times. Celebrated new life and mourned deaths. We have restyled our lives through weddings and divorces.
But most importantly we have been family to one another.
